Hyundai Kona is definitely one of the most awaited subcompact SUV to soon be officially revealed on its June launch. As it enters the market, it sets to take down Nissan Juke as both go on to battle it out as the best of its kind.

The Hyundai Kona has not changed since it was last seen. This time at Nurburgring, it still appears to be heavily camouflaged. Spies and onlookers did not have much to see on its exterior design and aesthetics. Hyundai is very keen on not showing too much information about this upcoming subcompact SUV and it's working to their advantage.

However, it was not a waste of time for those who were there. Sure, exterior design was not available to be spied on, but at least they saw first hand how the Kona performed. From what was witnessed, it did exceptionally well in tight corners. It is believed to have the same underpinnings as the i20 and some parts of the slightly larger i30.

The Hyundai Kona is also reported to come with a standard six-speed manual gearbox. An optional seven-speed dual-clutch automatic may also be available. It is also expected to come boasting with a good deal of safety features such as autonomous emergency braking and lane keep assist to name a few.

The Hyundai Kona is expected to be officially revealed this June and will be available in dealerships come October. By then, it is expected to eat a good chunk of Nissan Juke's share of the market pie. It may even take more market share as more people discover its impressive performance and capabilities.

Nissan Juke is a great car. It has been enjoying the attention it gets for being a uniquely styled vehicle of its kind. However, this may not last long as Hyundai Kona will soon be available in the market. The simple fact the Hyundai has given very little information about Kona, hypes up industry experts' curiosity which is necessary for its launch.
