The 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT C is considered one vicious ride and industry experts are certainly talking. Its appearance is sporty, but its power sets it apart from the rest. Competition of its kind should be worried as this vehicle is putting up a good fight.

The 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT C is a classic example of "looks can be deceiving." Though it looks aesthetically pleasing and attractive, one can easily jump into a conclusion for being one docile ride. This is particularly referring to the GT C Roadster coming with a Solarbeam Yellow paint. All of its glory lies under the hood and has to be experienced and not just seen.

The GT C is powerful as it is capable of producing 550-horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque. This is significantly powerful as compared to the 469-horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque that the GT produces and 515-horsepower and 494 pound-feet of torque of the GT S. It is even more powerful than the GT R's 577-horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque.

This is definitely where the viciousness stems from. This is what proves that looks can indeed be deceiving. Underneath that sublime yellow hue is a ride steaming with flaming red blazing on the road.

It has an engine that is impressive throughout the rev range. The GT C gets revised gearing for its shared seven-speed dual clutch automated transmission. With this, the ride expertly knows the appropriate timing to downshift when braking into a hard corner. The transmission behavior in Comfort Mode is also considerably smooth compared to the traditional automatic.

Some reviews also suggest that Porsche, in particular, has to be worried because of the 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT C. Experts generally feel that the GT C is impressive in all of AMG's GT sports car range. There is also GLC63 and GLC63 Coupe making the headlines.

The 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT C is certainly a cut above the rest in its own right. It may not be the fastest and the best sports car to date, but it has something to offer which can rival most. Industry experts consider this as one hot ride and it is easy to understand why they consider it that way.
