The Kreisel Evex 910e is the baby of the geniuses behind Arnold Schwarzenegger's all-electric Mercedes G-Wagen. This creation looks like a classic Porsche on the outside but packs a mean electric powertrain on the inside.

Teaming up with Evex Fahrzeubgau, the Austrian company has recently announced that they will be selling a Porsche 910 replica that will be powered by their own electric car technology. Dubbed as the Evex 910e, it is priced at a juicy 1 million euros or approximately $1.06 million.

The Kreisel Evex 910e is basically an electric sports car and it will take the future of motorsport inside a classical aesthetic body, that of the iconic Porsche 910. It debuted at the Techno-Classica car show in Essen, Germany.

Evex Fahrzeugbau, the company that makes replicas of the Porsche 910 sports racer, provided the Kreisel Evex 910e's replica body and frame. And instead of the original 2.0-liter flat-six engine, Kreisel outfitted the all-electric sports car with 53kWh lithium-ion battery pack.

The electric motor is mated to a two-speed transmission and power is delivered to the rear wheels. Plus, the Evex 910e's electric motor has an output of 490 horsepower and 568 pound-feet of torque. The company claims a 217-mile range for the all-electric sports car.

In fact, a 0 to 62 mph is only 2.5 seconds with a top speed of more than 186 mph. This all-electric sports car is even faster than the original race car.

To top that off, the Kreisel Evex 910e is capable of bidirectional charging. This means that the sports car can discharge electricity coming from its battery pack that will act as an emergency power source for the house or some other establishing. This is one handy vehicle. And this is one unique feature that should be present in other EVs.

Although the Kreisel did not announce exactly how many Kreisel Evex 910e they are producing, there will be a limited production for sure. In fact, the company believes that the all-electric sports car will be a future collectible, as it is the first vehicle launched under the Kreisel name.

So, if you are holding back because you hope that the Tesla Roadster will be here soon, wait no longer as the Kreisel Evex 910e will be available for purchase with a price tag of 1 million euros (around $1 million). Also, the amazing Porsche 917 replica might be next in line for an all-electric version.
