Honor 8 Pro is reviewed to be Huawei's answer to the best mobile devices released left and right. Industry experts even consider this as Huawei's best flagship ever released. It is easy to understand why industry experts find this device cutting edge. The Honor brand boasts of impressive features and specs without the steep price tag.

The Honor 8 Pro is powered by Kirin 960 with four 2.4GHz cores and 18GHz cores. It also comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. This flagship device is also running the latest version of Huawei's EMU 5.1 on top of Android 7.1 Nougat.

The Honor 8 Pro has notable improvements such as better blue light filter and the all-important new camera which is co-developed with GoPro called Highlights. This technology enables to create video stories from everything that is stored in the gallery.

Like most mobile device upgrades, the Honor 8 Pro is considerably bigger and some may not be a big fan of it. However, in spite of the bigger size, it still looks sleek and thin for measuring 6.97mm deep. Even more interesting is Huawei managed to fit a 4,000mAh battery that is capable of giving the device power for two days in regular use. This is definitely one of its best features as battery life is an essential especially for those who are always on the road and don't have access to regular charging.

The Honor 8 Pro does have an impressive 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chatting. The rear camera, though not high for only having 12-megapixels, still delivers good video and image quality. The rear-facing camera also has a f/2.2 aperture, laser autofocus, LED flash, and 4K video recording. Following the lead of Samsung, its fingerprint sensor was also moved to the back. For easier file transfer, it does have NFC support.

The Honor 8 Pro may not be as technologically advanced as the other recently released mobile devices, however, for its price range, this device is excellent. The official launch of Huawei's latest device is slated on April 20, 2017, and it may set one back for about $500 which is not too bad for what this device can deliver.
