The new 2017 Hyundai Ioniq EV is an eco-friendly car and the first car to offer three electrified versions. Hyundai is a South Korean multinational automotive manufacturer and is known to be one of the largest car manufacturers in the world.

The attractive look of the 2017 Hyundai Ioniq EV is designed to manage the airflow with several active and passive aerodynamic features. It has an active aero front grille, wheels air curtains, a rear spoiler and a smooth underbody cover. It is all combined to deliver a 0.24 coefficient drag. With the use of aluminum and high-strength steel, it gives the 2017 Ioniq model a light and rigid body structure. Less weight means a higher MPG with better range and acceleration.

What makes the new 2017 Hyundai Ioniq EV eco-friendly is that its interior design is unbelievably made up of powdered wood, volcanic rocks, sugar cane, and recycled plastics. The 25% of sugarcane is used for the interior's soft-touch door trims, and a 20% of interior plastic is made up of a combination of recycled plastic, powdered wood, and volcanic rock which helps reduce weight.

The model is loaded with a power tilt-and-slide sunroof, heated front seats and an 8-inch colored touchscreen display with Android play, Apple CarPlay, and a rearview camera. There's even a handy holder for tablets located between the front seats. It also has a 60/40 folding seatback.

As said, the all-new electric 2017 Hyundai Ioniq EV offers the buyers a three-electrified version in one car. It comes with Ioniq electric, Ioniq Hybrid, and Ioniq plug-in hybrid. It lets the driver choose what to use, either electric or gas.  But all these features come with a standard range of 110 miles.

And for the safety of the passengers, the 2017 Hyundai Ioniq EV has some of the most innovative and modern safety features available like the automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, and blind-spot detection. Talking about technology and convenience, the 2017 Ioniq is never too late for that since it also comes with smartphone integration, wireless charging, and smart cruise control.

An app was also made to make the car's charging much easier. The MyHyundai with Blue Link app offers remote features that allow the driver to do cool stuff with their smartphones. The price for the 2017 Hyundai Ioniq EV is estimated about $22,000, which is cheaper than the other Hyundai vehicles.
