Nissan had released the “Terrano” in 2013 and now, four years later, the car has received its first major update. Even though, it their essence, the engines, underpinnings and components of the “Terrano” are shared with the Renault “Duster”, the automobile has managed to keep both its individuality and charm.

The “Terrano” 2017 holds some surprises, which make the car feel more complete as a product and add a premium feel to it. Auto NDTV shares the updates. First is the introduction of a six speed automatic system, which was first presented in the “Terrano AMT”. Even though not technically new, it is a good addition to the vehicle’s performance.

Nissan have also added a 7 inch touch screen infotainment system to the “Terrano” 2017. It comes with a voice recognition system, which sadly, is compatible only with iOS system products, which leaves Apple CarPlay or Android Auto users wanting. Still, USB, AUX and Bluetooth connectivity is available on the car. The interior re-design on the vehicle includes a redone steering wheel, which has been designed to accommodate enough space for the telephony and audio capabilities of the vehicle.

The fabric of the seats has also been changed and now comes in two colors, which adds to the premium feeling of the automobile. Along with other interior changes, an armrest for the driver has been introduced, which is a good adition for long trips.

Financial Express has shared the price at which Nissan India has released the new “Terrano” 2017. The standard Nissan “Terrano” XL and the “Terrano” XED are set on the price of 9.99lakh ($15,400 roughly). The Nissan “Terrano” XLD (O) is set on 11.92lakh ($18,400 roughly). Nissan “Terrano” XVD Per is 13.60lakh (21,000 roughly) and Nissan “Terrano” XVD PRE AMT ($22,000 roughly).

Noticing the relatively low price and the high quality of Nissan’s products, it is not a bad idea for supporters of the company to upgrade their vehicle to the newest trend, if nothing else, that armrest will sure come in handy during the trip to India. The Nissan “Terrano” 2017 is available for purchase now.
