It seems that the new 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 continues to be praised wherever it goes. The car is technically the high-performance version of the standard Camaro.

The ZL1 is powered by the same supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8 found in the Corvette Z06 that produces 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque which in turn enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 In just 3.5 seconds. It can complete a quarter mile in just 11.4 seconds at 127 mph when equipped with the 10-speed automatic option.

The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is available in a single trim level as either a four-seat coupe or a convertible version. On the performance part, it features Brembo brakes, the FE4 suspension with adaptive dampers, 20-inch forged alloy wheels, an electronic limited-slip differential, upgraded performance tires and Recaro Sport seats.

Additional standard features include dual-mode performance exhaust, LED running lights, rear parking sensors, warning systems for blind spots, a rearview camera, xenon headlights, rear cross traffic and lane departure, keyless ignition and entry, and heated and auto-dimming mirrors. Other features also include a heated and ventilated front seat, adjustable drive modes, Dual-zone automatic control, driver seat memory functions and a head-up display.

On the inside, the standard Recaros are very cushy and well-bolstered. The seats strike a good balance between long-distance comfort and performance. The car is also packed with technology equipment such as OnStar emergency communications, Bluetooth, 4G LTE Wi-Fi connectivity, smartphone app integration (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), a nine-speaker Bose audio system, an 8-inch touchscreen with Chevy's MyLink interface, and wireless smartphone charging.

The straight-line performance is just one of the ZL1's tricks. The chassis features an updated Magnetic ride suspension, the brakes employ six-piston calipers, an electronic limited-slip differential and it even has more colors compared to the Bugatti Veyron.

Stand-alone Optional features include a sunroof, premium floor mats, integrated navigation system, and various carbon-fiber trim. A track-focused 1LE package has already been announced, but it won't arrive until the 2018 model year.

The new 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 coupe has a starting price tag of $63,435 including a $1,300 gas-guzzler penalty. So for those who wants an ultra-performance car, this is worth a choice.
