2018 Ford Kuga Gets New Technologies, Interior Designs And Comfort With A Touch Of Luxury

Ford Kuga is a compact, sport utility vehicle, which competes in this segment with rivals like Honda CR-V, VW Tiguan,  and the Mazda Cx-5. The newest version of the Kuga gets necessary updates in order to stay competitive. The all new 2018 Ford Kuga features contemporary design inside and out and also delivers an excellent mix of performance and efficiency.

The 2017 version has made Kuga a modern and fresh in all aspects. It benefits from the latest modern technologies and broader engine and trims range. With all the upgrades, it's now ready to soldier new minor updates for a few years, and new 2018 model won't bring a lot new.

 The newest updates have brought the car in line with other Ford's models in terms of the exterior. It has the face similar to the smaller EcoSport and new Edge model. It includes an upper grille that is trapezoidal and smaller lower grille.

In addition, new headlights with LED accents and repositioned fog lights also add to its new appearance. The model also has updated the rear end styling. The 2018 Ford Kuga is also available with different wheel designs and sizes that customers can choose between 17-, 18-, and 19-inch units.

On the inside, the new Kuga won't differ from the current version, but it is now more refined and better equipped. It features a nicely designed dashboard equipped with modern center cluster and instrument panel. Ergonomic seats and latest technologies will give the new Kuga a high level of comfort keeping drivers connected and safe.

It 's also equipped with Ford's latest SYNC infotainment system with 8-inch touchscreen and voice commands that supports Apple CarPlay, Applink and Android Auto features. Leather seats with heating functionality will maximize drivers comfort while unique ST-Line and Vignale trim add a new level of energy and style.

Under the hood, the new Kuga is powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged four cylinder EcoBoost engine that produces 147 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque. With this engine, fuel economy is estimated at 35 mpg. The higher trim version gets the 1.8-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine that produces 180 hp and 200 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 10 seconds and has a top speed of 116 mph.

The all-new 2018 Ford Kuga should go on sale in late 2017 or early 2018. The price of this new vehicle is expected to be around $28,000 and $48,000 in higher trim version.
