Ford Mustang 50th Anniversary Logo Revealed, Year-Long Party Planned (PHOTOS/ VIDEO)

Its evident Ford is planning on going all out to commemorate their 50th anniversary with special products like watches, jackets and even a pinball machine according to USA Today.

 Each new item will include a brand new logo to celebrate the anniversary.

The winning design competition was run by Group Vice President of Global Design J Mays who selected designer Michael Thompson's entry.

The logo features Mustang's trademark pony in silhouette over the slogan "50 Years."

The next brand-new Mustang most likely won't be shown off until April 17, 2014, which will mark the official 50th anniversary of the company's first vehicle according to The Detroit Free Press.

Mustang revealed their first ever vehicle back in 1964, just a few days before the New York World's Fair according to USA Today and has remained one of the most popular brands since.

Until the next vehicle is unveiled, expect to see the limited time logo everywhere.

The company has already revealed that they plan on celebrating the anniversary until next April, and the party is set to being at this year's New York International Auto Show.
