Moto G5 Plus: The Fastest Selling Smartphone of 2017; 50 Units Per Minute Sold During Launch

Motorola, a multinational American Telecommunications company has recently released the Moto G5 Plus at this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. It is considered as one of the next-gen frontrunners of Motorola's new G series smartphones. In line with the phone's release, Motorola is said that the company already is in the process of releasing the phone's first update.

According to Droid Report, The Moto G5 Plus will be equipped with a Qualcomm MSM8953 2GHz Snapdragon 625 chipset and a 625 Octa-core Cortex CPU. It will also include an Adreno 506 GPU 3GB of RAM and an internal storage of either 32GB or 64GB, which could extend up to 256GB through a MicroSD card.

With the camera specs, the Moto G5 Plus has 12 MP camera with dual autofocus pixels, a f/1.7 aperture, 4K video recording and a dual-LED flash. The front camera has 5 MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and a wide-angle lens.

In terms of connectivity options, the Moto G5 Plus includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, GPS and A-GPS, NFC, Bluetooth v4.2, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB. The Moto G5 Plus battery capacity is 3000mAh which is non-removable and was reported by Motorola the TurboPower charging will provide a six-hour battery life in just 15 minutes of charging.

According to Gadgets, the Moto G5 Plus went on sale in Flipkart, a leading online store in India and had a remarkable record sale on the first day of the launch, with an incredible sale rate of more than 50 units per minute.

The Moto G5 Plus will be available in two colors, Lunar Grey and Fine Gold. The smartphone will also be expected to receive additional updates on its firmware build NPN25.137-33 in order to fix some last minute bugs in its software.
