Mazda received a number of good feedbacks with the new 2017 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF, the latest sports car to covet. Compared with the 2017 Toyota 86 860, both sports cars have a lot to offer its global fans. Both are also competing for the title of being the best roadsters on the block right now.

Mazda MX-5 Miata RF. According to Autoblog, the 2017 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF is a peppy kind of sports car but wished that it would have a sturdier roof to keep the sun and the elements out. The RF is not a stand alone name but rather it means "retractable fastback," as the entire rear roof can be retracted to nest on top of the luggage compartment. This aims to provide comfort and convenience, especially for long travel.

However, Autoblog has asserted that the wind factor can wreak havoc on the passengers' hair and everything else can fly when the 2017 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF guns down the highway at 45 miles per hour. And that includes wind noise which is not reduced even when the automatic windows are up.

With a 2.0 liter engine and a choice of either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission, 155 HP and 148 LB-FT torque, the 2017 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF is just right for every single woman or man (it was voted a clear favorite of women in 2016 by Autobytel).

2017 Toyota 86 860. On the other hand, the 2017 Toyota 86 860 Special Edition will be introduced this year in the U.S. in bright orange and white. It will only be releasing 860 units of each color model. This car has a sleek exterior styling and an increased horsepower of about 5 to 205 and 156 LB-FT of torque.

It's also a favorite sports car of male car owners. This 2017 Toyota 86 860 Limited Edition is reported to have better aerodynamics with restyled fender vents, 17-inch black chrome alloy wheels, and LED fog lights. Also, it has black heated front seats and side mirrors, push-button start, and its high-tech dual zone climate control.

The 2017 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF Base Price is $31, 555 while the 2017 Toyota 86 860 has an MSRP of $30,040 as mentioned in Motor Authority. Both cars stand out in their category and car enthusiasts can't wait to hear more updates about these cars.
