2017 Ford Torino: A Larger Muscle Car Than The Mustang

Turin is a city in Italy where Ford gets the name of one of their car models. Though it was just produced in a short period from 1968 to 1976, it was already too big during those times which the company also expect the same for the 2017 Ford Torino.

As for the exterior, it showcases the combination of traditional and modern features with sharp front and curved look. However, this model doesn't include a bumper. For the body structure, it received an additional 5 inches of its length which make it longer compared to the model way back before.

The American multinational automaker, Ford, gave this Torino a stylish alloy 20 inches wheels. For a much improved lighter weight, aluminum materials is utilized on the body panels. The choice of the material is also to make the vehicle a great performance car.

Interior for the 2017 Ford Torino offers a modernized system with few details that still leaves a mark from the model in 70's. For an easier access and control of the infotainment features, 8 inches LED screen on the dashboard is included.

Seats for the driver and passengers is more likely made out of leather with some space for more comfort. As for the steering wheel, it is placed lower than conventional.

When it comes to muscle cars, the engine is at its best. So as expected, the 2017 Ford Torino comes to the road like a beast that is surely a competitive model in the auto market. The car comes with a powerful V8 Ti-VCT 5.0 liter engine which is present in the Ford's Mustang GT car model. It can run up to 435 of horsepower with the use of 93-octane fuel and a 400 lb-ft of torque.

Expectations on the car's acceleration rating are to reach 0-60 mph in the span of 4 seconds. This rating is based on the Ford Mustang which means that this latest Torino might get  170 mph as a top speed. In addition, the fuel economy rating is said to be 15 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway.
