The new 2013 GMC Terrain's IntelliLink connectivity system now allows more features than ever including access to Pandora internet radio, voice recognition, and Bluetooth hands-free calling according to a company press release.

Back in November, GM announced that they'd hired an industry-first team of 25 young tech Connected Customer Specialists. Those that were hired all previously worked for computer and communications companies before coming to GM to assist sales teams in GMC dealerships all-around the nation.

Since there idea has worked out great so far, they've decided to hire 25 more employees to be added to the team.

"The Terrain's IntelliLink is already a very intuitive interface," said Adam Luebbers, a Connected Customer Specialist in Michigan in the press release. "What I like to do is help owners make the most of it to meet their needs and interests. For example, if they love Pandora we'll show them how to move that on-screen icon to a prominent location.

Each Connected Customer Specialist is assigned to a specific geographic area that he or she already knows "culturally and demographically" according to GM. They'll be on hand at specific GM dealerships to help out new customers with their IntelliLink system to make sure they feel comfortable and "confident" with the new technology their car provides.

IntelliLink was introduced in the 2012 Terrain small SUV, and has since been added in many 2013 vehicles. While using Pandora, people can say "Thumbs Up" to a particular song they like so they hear more like it, or they can say "More Like This," to replicate the options provided on computer screen when using Pandora at home.

The service also allows drivers to create an MP3 playlist, find gas prices nearby, movie times, and weather forecasts.

"I also like to point out fun short-cuts," said Luebbers according to the press release." Most users don't know that instead of browsing into the phone menu, an owner can just say 'Connect' with voice command and IntelliLink will start pairing a Bluetooth phone. They're always amazed by how quick and easy the system is to use."
