Mercedes AMG Celebrates Its 50th Anniversary With Three Special Edition Cars

It's Mercedes-AMG's 50th anniversary. To commemorate this, Mercedes decided to release three special edition models.

The car brand has been known for its performance luxury cars. It came from the minds of two German car enthusiasts named Aufrecht and Melcher, who decided to enhance their Mercedes cars in a town called Groaspac.

According to ABC7, this is where the car's name came from. Combining the first letter of Aufrecht and Melcher with the town Groaspac makes the perfect initials AMG, creating the perfect car name Mercedes-AMG.

Since then, Mercedes has made a lot of improvements with the car. They have upgraded its suspensions, wheels, tires, brakes and seats.

Mercedes-AMG is known for its reliable engine. It has a car engine that provides excellent performance without compromising their consumption and carbon output.

Recently, Mercedes announced that they will be launching three special edition cars called Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster Edition 50, Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe and Cabriolet and Mercedes-AMG C63 Cabriolet Ocean Blue Edition to commemorate Mercedes-AMG's 50th anniversary. These special edition cars will only have a limited availability, Express reported.

In UK, the Mercedes AMG GT C Roadster Edition 50 will only be available in their market. AMG GT C Roadster Edition will reportedly only have 500 available cars worldwide.

The Mercedes AMG GT C Roadster Edition can be bought with two color variations graphite gray magno and cashmere white magno. While the Mercedes AMG-C 63 Cabriolet Ocean Blue Edition, only has a single color variation a deep ocean-like color.

Mercedes AMG-C 63 Cabriolet Ocean Blue Edition reportedly only has 150 units available. As for the Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe and Cabriolet, it is available in night edition where it is known for its exquisite black details that made it stand out from all the Mercedes standard models.

The Mercedes-AMG special edition cars were launched at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. As of to date, there have been no reports on when will these cars be available on the market.
