New Fiat 500 Sessantesimo Limited Edition Looks Pure & Tough At 60; To Sell Only 560 Units

Fiat 500 is celebrating its 60th birthday and what better way to celebrate the momentous event but through a grand launch of its limited edition dubbed Fiat 500 Sessantesimo. Fiat displayed the new flagship at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show with impressive neat designs and high-tech features.

The limited edition Fiat 500 Sessantesimo projects a pure image with its new body paint. The new 500 comes with a neat two-tone skin, the body has a pure white tint while a pastel ivory is painted on the pillars and bonnet.

To match the body, the new 500 sports ivory leather seats lined with burgundy seams. The cabin also carries a similar burgundy tint to match the seat seams.

The cabin also boasts of its seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, integrated with Bluetooth, satellite navigating features. It also supports the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto apps, AutoExpress reported.

Meanwhile, the name Sessantesimo of the limited edition 500 is an Italian word which means "sixtieth," to commemorate the anniversary, AutoEvolution noted.

Fiat has also announced that only 560 units will be produced for this limited edition 500. Those who are interested in grabbing their own unit may start booking their orders now.

The limited edition Fiat 500 Sessantesimo provides a special feel for the privileged owners. The new car also carries an exclusive 560 badge dotted around the exterior and interior of the car, on the alloy wheels, to make the model extra special.

The automaker plans to make a massive advertising campaign via radio, web and other media forms. The new car will be sold with a "Forever Young" slogan.

Furthermore, Fiat is set to launch other special accessories to join the 60th anniversary of 500. The 500X and Tipo will have the new S-Design trim level. Another accessory to look forward to is the retro-looking four-spoke allow wheels called 124 Spider Europa.

The limited edition Fiat 500 Sessantesimo began selling yesterday, March 9 in Europe.
