Peugeot Instinct Concept car was just launched at the opening of 2017 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The new hybrid car claims to be the most promising futuristic car to behold with its latest Samsung ARTIK Cloud and autonomous modes.

Peugeot also came to this year's Mobile World Congress to introduce its latest flagship, the Instinct Concept. Peugeot shared that they envision the potentials of self-driving technology as the core technology of the new cars coming out in the future.

The Peugeot Instinct boasts of its self-driving concept to run in "Autonomous Sharp" or "Autonomous Soft" modes. Through these modes, driving the new Instinct will have options between comfortable or speed journey times depending on the driver's schedule requirements.

The Peugeot Instinct can read information from the user's smartwatch to determine the next driving experience suited for the user's condition. If the vehicle reads a stressful day schedule, the vehicle will configure to "Autonomous Soft" mode to give the passenger a smooth and relaxing travel back home.

The new hybrid can also be configured with the user's calendar or live traffic updates. Once the vehicle reads a congested traffic condition, it will set off on an earlier schedule to be able to pick up the passenger on time.

Although the new Peugeot Instinct has self-driving capabilities, the automaker emphasized that the driver still has complete control on the vehicle. The driver can manipulate the vehicle through its tablet-like screen located at the center console.

Aside from the console screen, all passengers can communicate with the new Peugeot Instinct through voice command. The new hybrid sports a Chatbot, the latest technology feature which serves as a speech-driven personal assistant which can perform several tasks.

The driver can always opt to drive the vehicle manually with ease as the new flagship is powered by a plug-in hybrid system which can produce 300 hp, Motor Authority reported.

Meanwhile, Peugeot has joint forces with the Internet of Things (IoT) to partner with Samsung to feature a functional onboard IoT Cloud in the new Instinct. Called the Samsung ARTIK Cloud, this onboard IoT Cloud enables the new vehicle the required digital horsepower to be able to connect with the user's smartphone or other smart wearables. This Samsung ARTIK Cloud is the key to power up the autonomous modes and its extra features.

The new Peugeot Instinct Concept car is also set to be launched at the 2017 Geneva Auto Show on March 7.
