2017 Yamaha FZ-09: Aggressive Superbike, Runs Via Floating Style Concept

The 2017 Yamaha FZ-09 is a styling and aggressive superbike. Yamaha likes to put the idea of a "floating style" concept into a frame, which the new 2017 FZ-09 come with the perfect idea.

The motorcycle is powered by an 847cc and cross plane-concept liquid-cooled engine. It is in line with a three-cylinder engine. It offers an adjustable Traction Control, which includes YCC-T, Yamaha D- Mode, ride-by-wire, and an Assist and Slipper Clutch.

The Yamaha D- Mode has user-selectable and electronically controlled drive modes concepts. It has a bore and stroke of 78.0 mm x 59.1 mm. The compression ratio is 11.5:1. The fuel delivery is made possible by "fuel injection" with YCC-T. It has a Transistor Controlled Ignition and a six-speed transmission with a multiple assist and slipper-wet clutch.

The 2017 Yamaha FZ-09 has a 41mm inverted front fork and a fully adjustable 5.4-in travel suspension. The rear has a single shock, which is adjustable preload and rebound damping. It measures 5.1-in travel rear suspension.

According to Motorcycle, the front brake is a 298 mm ABS dual hydraulic disc. Its rear brake is a 245 mm ABS hydraulic disc. The front tire is 120/70ZR17, and the rear is 180/55ZR17. The superbike is 81.7 inches in length, 32.1 inches width and a height of 44.7 inches.

The 2017 Yamaha FZ-09 has a wheelbase of 56.7 inches and 32.3 inches seat height. It has castor angle rake of 25.0 degrees. It is well designed with 4.1 inches trail with 5.3 inches maximum ground clearance. It has a 3.7-gallon fuel capacity with a fuel economy of 44 mpg, as noted by Cycle World.

The superbike has well-engineered features and packing impressive performance. It owns a naked sportbike aggressive style segment. Its engine has a powerful inline, which delivers an exciting, torquey and quick-revving engine character built around rider-centric control.
