Audi, a well-known German automobile manufacturer that designs, produces, markets and distributes luxury cars, has officially released the pricing details for the 2018 S4. The price starts at $51,875, which cost slightly less than the Mercedes-AMG 43.
The new 2018 model is much better than its predecessor. Under the hood lies amounted, twin-scroll turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 that makes 354 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. That's more than 21 hp and 44 lb-ft of torque over the current supercharged 3.0-liter V-6.
Audi claims all that power can let the car accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds. The engine is paired with a new 8-speed automatic transmission that swaps both a 7-speed dual clutch transmission and a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Standard features of the new 2018 Audi S4 includes LED headlights, LED daytime running lights and LED taillights, three-zone automatic climate control with digital display for back passengers, and auto-dimming wing mirrors. It also includes Audi's MMI systems that offer Android Auto support and Apple CarPlay.
On the inside, it gets a flat-bottom steering wheel with shift paddles, power side bolsters, heated 8-way power adjustable front sports seats with 4-way power lumbar support, a massage function, and a diamond-stitched leather upholstery.A dual-pane sunroof is also available.
In addition, Audi's virtual cockpit, which is a digital infotainment display placed in the instrument panel is optional. The virtual cockpit has Google Earth navigation, which is supported via 4G LTE connection. It also comes with a Bang and Olufsen 3D sound system.
Also available are blind spot warnings, forward collision warning with emergency braking, pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, and rear cross traffic alerts. The car differs from the A4 by its 18-inch double-spoke wheels with standard summer tires, trunk lid lip spoiler, aluminum-look side mirrors, and a platinum gray single-frame grille with aluminum-look bars.
Furthermore, two trim levels are offered; Premium Plus and Prestige which adds around $4900 to the bottom line. The 2018 Audi S4 will go on sale this spring that sells for $51,875 for the Premium Plus and $56,795 for the Prestige model.
