The issue won't be released until Feb. 12, but since Fashion Copious leaked the photos online, the cover has appeared on many different sites including The Huffington Post and Forbes.

Upton has certainly benefited from appearing on the cover last year, as she's since appeared on the cover of magazines like Vogue, Vogue Italia and V Magazine. She's even tried out acting, appearing in movies such as "The Three Stooges," and "Tower Heist" according to IMDB.

Rumors made their way around the Internet that Derek Jeter's girlfriend Hannah Davis was going to appear on the cover, but it seems like the model will have to wait at least one more year for her moment in the sun.

The blonde bombshell was recently the cause of controversy for her role in the 2013 Mercedes-Benz Super Bowl commercial. Many people felt that the company allowed Upton to show too much skin in a commercial that was seen by approximately 108 million people, including thousands of children.

Upton's cover shoot took place in Antarctica, a shoot that TMZ reported about months ago, but no one had any idea that it was going to be used for S.I. at the time. Sports Illustrated has yet to confirm the news, but they'll most likely be sending Upton out soon to appear on the "Late Show with David Letterman" to announce the news officially.

The model is the first to appear on back-to-back issues since Carolyn Murphy in 2005-06 according to SportsIllustrated.com.

The issue is highly-anticipated for many reasons other than Upton, including a rumored photo spread of Katherine Webb, a former Miss Alabama USA winner in 2012 and the girlfriend of Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron.
