The 2018 Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman Guard is a luxury limo that is very heavily armored. It weighs over 11,000 pounds and can keep executives and heads of state relatively safe inside.

Mercedes-Benz's Maybach division makes the grandest and most massive version of the S-class: the Pullman. It also makes the most secure version: the S600 Guard. They decided to combine the 2 and make an S600 Pullman Guard to make a large safe limo.

Car and Driver reported that this car is perfect for VIPs and other people who need the added security. It is 21-feet long and very luxurious and comfortable inside like a regular Pullman. But it offers extra protection like the S600 Guard.

The S600 Pullman Guard has a 530 horsepower twin-turbo V-12 engine. It can even do a top speed of up to 99 mph despite weighing nearly 12,000 pounds!

Armored Mercedes-Maybach. Business Insider reported that an armored Maybach limo will cost around $1.57 million. These armored limos are only for sale in Germany and will not be for sale in the United States. However, executives and heads of state who can afford to purchase the car in Germany and have it shipped and pay the corresponding taxes can very well do so.

The armored limo has the same 21-foot length. It is loaded with a lot of armored protection and weighs more than 5.5 tons or 11,000 pounds.

The armored protection comes with integrated steel protection panels inside the body along with extra overlapping security panels. The Guard also comes with shielded floors to protect occupants from potential bomb blasts. The ultra-thick laminated glass windows come with a polycarbonate coating on the inside as well. The Pullman is certified at resistance class VR8 and is blast proof enough to comply with ERV2010 standards.

The 2018 Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman Guard is perfect for those who need the luxury and security. The first releases will be available by the end of the year. What do you think about the luxurious and secure limo? Share your thoughts and comments below.
