Kid Rock stated this week that his new partnership with Harley-Davidson was like a dream, and as an owner of multiple Harleys, he didn't feel like he would be compromising his integrity or risking backlash from his die-hard fans.

"Harley Davidson? Man, it's like a dream deal," the musician said in a telephone interview from his home in Michigan to the Associated Press. "You know much like Jim Beam, it's something I've used that I've loved for a long time before this deal came about. It just makes sense. I've turned down countless deals that just don't make sense to me."

The partnership includes an exclusive line of limited-edition co-branded "Rebel Soul" merchandise from the musician's song of the same name. The merchandise will include the line "I can't hear you over the rumble of my freedom" from the title track of Rock's newest album released this past November.

The merchandise will be available at each Kid Rock show or at Harley-Davidson dealerships.

"Honestly, it's always about the money, yes, but more importantly it's about something you truly believe in and truly use," Kid Rock said according to the Associated Press. "At least, people that like what I do and are into what I do understand that."

Rock's tour begins this coming Friday in Kansas City and will end Aug. 31 at Harley's 110 anniversary celebration in Milwaukee according to the Associated Press.
