Is 'The Seven Deadly Sins' Season 2 Coming On Netflix This February?

"The Seven Deadly Sins" Season 2 digital banner from Netflix showed that it will be released on Feb. 17, 2017. However, fans claimed that Netflix mistakenly labeled the OVA of "Signs of Holy War" as Season 2.

American Anime lovers were anticipating the Season 2 airing for a year now after several postponements of its release. So it was a sweet surprise for them when news started to come out about its upcoming release.

Inquisitr mentioned that speculations about the Season 2 showing started when the picture about Season 2 release was seen by Netflix subscribers a few days ago. The image confirmed that indeed "The Seven Deadly" sins Season 2 will be aired on the said date.

Some reports were circulating that instead of "The Seven Deadly Sins" Season 2, Netflix will be showing the "Signs of Holy War" instead, Mobile & Apps reported. Some observers commented that Netflix may have made a wrong labeling on the graphics causing a stir among manga lovers. 

"Signs of Holy War" is a mini-series that is considered as a sequel to the Season 1 episodes. This means that indeed Netflix will still be showing an extension of Season 1.

Anime News Network reported that "Signs of Holy War" is a four- episode special that will keep viewers attuned with "The Seven Deadly Sins" storyline. It will provide more information about "The Seven Deadly Sins" quest on saving Princess Elizabeth's father and kingdom as they fight against demons and other entities.

 Inquisitr also added Netflix has Seven Deadly Sins under its list of licensed anime series.On the other hand, Funmination has acquired the home video rights of the popular anime.

Meanwhile, Anime enthusiasts are already speculating on the Season 2 plot. Many are expecting more fighting scenes between "The Seven Deadly Sins" and the Demon clan, as well as the Ten Commandments. Some are looking forward to knowing what sin did Meliodas committed and possibly new characters in the series.
