Apple users hoping to jailbreak their iPhone 5 devices received some more good news this week, as a new team was formed in an attempt to finally break through the security system Apple has on their iOS 6.

The "Dream "Team will be called the "Evad3rs," and will be headed by David Wang, who goes by the Twitter handle planetbeing, and Cyril Cattiaux, who goes by the handle pod3g. Also in the "Evad3rs" is someone who goes by the Twitter handle MuscleNerd and  Nikias Bassen, known on Twitter as Pimskeks.

"We (+ @MuscleNerd @planetbeing @pimskeks) are the @evad3rs. We don't take any donations ATM, please don't be fooled at donating to others," Cattiaux on Twitter this week.

Bassen, the respected developer of the Absinthe 2.0 jailbreak, took a break from the hacking world recently, but was convinced to join in the long over-due quest towards creating a successful untethered jailbreak for the latest Apple products.

Most of the hackers communicate through Twitter, so it's clear to see the progress the team is making and when they run into trouble. Since forming the group, idea that an untethered jailbreak could be released in a few months isn't that far-fetched.

"Tons of progress the last few days," said Wang on Twitter. "I think the future is looking bright for jailbreaking."

The team has also reportedly registered a website with the URL "evad3rs.com" according to the International Business Times.

A new report claims that the team may have everything they need to release an official jailbreak, but they are now waiting for Apple to release iOS 6.1.

Apple is set to release iOS 6.1 soon, so if the team does wait, they would only have to make some minor adjustments to the work they've been doing now to make it compatible. The jailbreak would then not only be available for the iPhone 5, but all Apple products according to Redmond Pie.
