Mercedes-Benz announced they've hired supermodel Kate Upton for their 2013 Super Bowl advertisement campaign. The company announced the news this past November that they had decided to base their multi-million dollar advertisement spot with Upton as the star.

"(The commercial) will be a tongue-in-cheek depiction of how far a person might-or might not-go to get their heat's desire," according to Mercedes-Benz representatives.

The company released a teaser video of the commercial on their website on Jan. 22, claiming the clip was of Upton washing a car, in slow motion.

The teaser, which doesn't show Upton doing anything besides attracting the attention of a couple young men in football jerseys, has over 500,000 views on YouTube already. The real commercial will be approximately 60 seconds long according to Mercedes-Benz.

Part of the ad was filmed in New Orleans according to Autoblog.com, which is the same location of the 2013 Super Bowl. Pop-singer Usher is also set to appear in the commercial, but Mercedes-Benz has yet to confirm in what manner.

This is the second Super Bowl commercial Upton will be featured in as she previously appeared in an advertisement for Carl's Jr. and Hardee's Southwest Patty Melt sandwich. The advertisement was later banned in the U.S. for being too "revealing" according to company representatives.

Upton is also recognized for gracing the covers of the 2012 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and Vogue magazine.

The commercial will air on Feb. 3 during the Super Bowl. Mercedes-Benz has yet to confirm which quarter the ad will be shown.
