Xbox Project Scorpio is definitely the talk of the gaming world right now. Well, it is easy to understand how this upcoming gaming console is making the rounds online.

This is going to redefine what a gaming is like and how it should perform. Project Scorpio is reported to be the gold standard in terms of gaming consoles.

According to Tech Radar, Microsoft has been mum in giving updates regarding Project Scorpio, however, reliable sources say that it is going to be extremely powerful. It is reported to be five times more powerful that Xbox One which many love. While many go crazy with its power and performance, how powerful is Project Scorpio really going to be?

How do six teraflops of graphical performance sound? It is powerful, period, point blank. This is how powerful Xbox Project Scorpio is going to be. It is going to be almost five times more powerful than Xbox One's GPU.

Alright, it may not be entirely on par with NVIDIA's recently announced top of the line GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card but considering the high-quality VR only requires a GTX 970 to work. With this said, the Project Scorpio will not have any problems providing users their much-needed intensely amazing VR experience.

While six teraflops remotely mean a lot of graphical performance, it may not necessarily mean it is enough to run games at 4K. For it to work, an inclusion of effects called the half-resolution and sparse rendering may be needed.

Half resolution happens when graphically intensive effects are run at a lower resolution than the game as a whole while sparse rendering is similar to PS4 Pro's check boarding technique which upscales games to 4K which is indistinguishable from native resolution.

As added by Express UK, even with the release of Xbox Project Scorpio, Xbox head Phil Spencer said that Xbox One and Scorpio will be around for many years to come. It will be supported consoles for many years. There is also a game which is described as an interactive VR narrative enabling players to speak their mind to characters in the story. To make it even more advanced, it will make use of natural language processing.

It is reported that this game will work perfectly with Xbox Project Scorpio. There are no updates regarding this game, however, it is more likely to be out months ahead.
