While Ford's F-Series keeps on driving deals in North America, FCA boasts about offering the most proficient off-road truck in the business. Meet the all-new 2017 Ram Power Wagon, built on the Ram 2500 platform, the 2017 model comes with a long list of impressive features that will excite many truck enthusiast. The 7,000-pound, 20-foot-long pickup truck can scale rocky and uneven surfaces. It can deal with desert sands at speed, but it's not as balanced as a Ford F-150 Raptor.

Joe Dehner, head of Ram and Mopar design, said, "The new front end was a dice roll." But because the Rebel was so well-received in Detroit, we doubled down."

The 2017 RAM Power Wagon is fitted with a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 that can produce 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. With that being said, there is an overwhelming power that allows the truck to blast through rough terrain like it was not even there.

Unfortunately, this much power does not look good when it comes to the fuel economy aspect. Customers can expect a low teen figure in the fuel efficiency, but that will be normal considering the power under its hood.

The truck weighs around 7,000 pounds. Being the heavyweight that it is, the 2017 RAM Power Wagon likewise has an advantage in pulling things as it has a towing limit of 10,030 pounds.

Furthermore, the fact that the 2017 model truck is bigger than any common truck out there, the 2017 Ram model truck has something that separates it from its rivals like the Ford Raptor and Toyota Tundra. The front suspensions of the mentioned rivals, for instance, are independent, and these things decrease their efficiency when it comes to the most extreme terrains. The truck is also equipped with a disconnecting sway bar along with a solid axle fitted on the front.

Trucks don't precisely come cheap and with the abilities and features that the 2017 RAM Power Wagon has, expect it to cost a lot. The 2017 RAM Power Wagon begins with a price tag of $51,695 however in the event customers will opt for addition upgrades, expect it to cost around $62,000.
