The Porsche Macan today is one of the few vehicles that is known to be performance-oriented models in the SUV section that has grown quickly in the last many years. Arriving for the 2014 model, this astonishing compact crossover turned into one of the fastest all-wheel drive models in mass production. Today, spy photos the 2018 Porsche Macan showed that it received few upgrades on its exterior.

Spy photographers were able to get very detailed photographs of the 2018 Porsche Macan facelift prototype wearing disguise over parts of the hood, bumper and some sections of its trunk. The car also highlights little changes to the air intakes, repositioned indicators, and a redesigned rear diffuser.

In addition, some of the car's design elements were already very impossible to describe. But most likely under the wrap, new headlights that have X-shaped designs outlines through the car that's similar to the new Panamera.

A base body panel between the taillamps recommends it's possible that the automaker will utilize full-width elements. The inside might also observe a de-cluttering, while the new assistance and safety frameworks will align the SUV with its opponents.

The Macan represents a reasonable piece of automaker's sales, yet no one knows much about the vehicle's facelift right now. According to some sources, they stated that the updates might arrive as early as next spring and may incorporate a plug-in hybrid version as well.

On the other hand, Mercedes-AMG is also almost done creating its all-new GLC 63 which will have 510 PS while the Macan Turbo can only produce 440 PS even with its Performance Package installed. Also, proclaimed largest automaker in the world, Volkswagen does not have yet the tool that can match the Mercedes V8. What VW only have as of the moment is an efficient turbo that was used by the S4/S5.

Furthermore, diesel remains a famous choice with Macan customers in Europe. So expect soon to see the S Diesel's 258 PS lump being improved to a twin-turbo like the one powering many Audi's. The all new 2018 Porsche Macan is expected to arrive sometime in the middle of next year. Pricing will start from around $48,000.
