The Microsoft Surface Pro 5's release date seems to be right around the corner. For those who are still eyeing the Surface Pro 4, there is a huge price drop on the model.
Surface Pro 4 Promotions. There have been so many sales for this 2-in-1 device lately. The first big sale happened in around the middle of last month with the Microsoft U.K. Store. A special coupon code allowed users to save up to 15 percent on the 2-in-1 device's low and mid-tier configurations.
A similar sale hit the United States at the end of last month. Low-tier m3 models were $100 off without the Surface Pen stylus. Also in Australia, the same no-pen configuration was available for AU$450 off!
The current sale is also a fantastic deal! The Microsoft Store now offers their Surface Pro 4 i5 2-in-1 devices for only $799. That's a $200 dollar discount! iDigitalTimes reports that the sale could only last until Feb. 4.
Surface Pro 5. While the speculations about the Surface Pro 5 have been silent for the most part, a recent surge of news about the new 2-in-1 device has been circulating. The recent news, coupled with all of the sales, has led everyone to believe that the Surface Pro 5 will be released sooner than expected.
CNET earlier reported that the Surface Pro 5 will be released in Spring of this year at the soonest. Intel has already confirmed that the latest 2-in-1 device from the Redmond tech company will be using Kaby Lake processors. Moreover, Forbes has also similarly reported that the latest Surface will most likely be equipped with the Kaby Lake Core i7 processor.
It was previously reported that the new Surface Pro 5 will have a UHD 2-in-1 4K display as well as a magnetic stylus. In addition, it will come with a new Surface Pen with an eraser.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 5's Spring release date may very well push through. All of the Surface Pro 4 sales seem to indicate that this is very much a possibility.
