Photos for the last unit of Rolls-Royce Phantom VII are now floating on the web, showing its elegance and its nautical theme design. The custom-built unit was designed based on the buyer's personality and fascination on the stylized 1930s ocean liner.

A Rolls-Royce collector commissioned the last unit of the seventh generation of Phantom to reflect his love for the ocean. Painted with Blue Velvet, the nautical theme is evident in the interiors of the luxury car.

The leather seats and linings were painted with Powder Blue. Pictures of a sailing vessel and the horizon were printed on the door interior accents.

The carpets provided in the last unit of Phantom VII were made of lambswool. Radio clocks depicting a 24-hour time zone can also be spotted in the partition wall and front cabin, Road and Track reported.

Furthermore, the last Rolls-Royce Phantom VII sports a body with extended wheelbase which measures up to 6,092mm in length, which is 250mm longer than the standard Phantom.

Rolls-Royce did not provide more info on the engine but Auto Express speculates that the last Phantom VII would most likely sport the same 454bhp 6.75-liter V12 engine. Even the price tag was not disclosed but the publication predicts the Rolls Royce collector could have paid more than the price of the currently Extended Wheelbase Phantom which is about $470,000 (£373,824).

This last unit of Phantom VII rolling out of the factory signals the end of the generation. Rolls-Royce has been producing the seventh generation for 13 years.

The nautical theme appears to be a remarkable way of saying goodbye to the long journey of the Rolls-Royce Phantom VII. The high-end automaker will then gear towards an all-aluminium-framed Phantom VIII. Beginning on 2018, Rolls-Royce has reportedly planned to release only all-aluminium-framed cars.
