Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is one of the most highly anticipated laptops to be released this year. Microsoft has been consistently giving Apple Inc. a run for their money for releasing top notch devices of the past few years. The Surface Pro 5 is known to be the direct competition of MacBook and may even be better.

For the longest time, Apple held the title for being the best in terms of producing laptops. With the MacBooks and its kind released, its status got even elevated making it hard to beat. However, Microsoft is slowly stealing away this title from Apple and may totally emerge the one on top after the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 gets officially released.

According to Forbes, Microsoft may not be particular in terms of sales volume as it gets released but the most important is being known as the best possible hardware. It is also expected to be a much better version of its predecessor, the Surface Pro 4.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to also come with a better display technology to improve the accuracy of the touch screen both for the fingers and for the Surface Pen. One of the most exciting updates is that the device may come in a 4K display, making it at par with the most up-to-date flat screen TV screen available in the market.

It is also expected that the latest Surface Pro device will be coming in packed with Intel's seventh-generation Core processors. The Kaby Lake chips are becoming available in greater quantities which offer a good number of processing advantages in graphics and speed.

As added by PC Advisor UK, the release of Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to be this March 2017. Several reports from last year stated that it will be released early 2017 or even late 2016 but have been moved. Though there is no confirmed news as to the hold up are released, some speculate that it is all because of the Kaby Lake chips. The latest update of Windows 10 called the Creators Update may also be the culprit behind the delay.

The upcoming World Mobile Congress this Feb. 27, 2017, in Barcelona may be the perfect venue to see the official introduction of Microsoft Surface Pro 5 to the general buying public. Though it may not be readily available if introduced during the said event, sales may commence a few months after. Stay tuned for further updates.
