Asus Zenbook 3 is considered Apple's MacBook toughest competition. It may not ring a bell as much as MacBook does but it is reported that the Zenbook 3 can definitely deliver. It has garnered several good reviews from gadget enthusiasts and critics, even converting them to use the Zenbook instead of its more popular competitor.
According to Trusted Reviews, the Asus Zenbook 3 has redefined what an Ultrabook is. It is the lightest and slimmest Intel Core-i laptop at present. As a result, some features were somehow taken for granted to give way to its ultra slim body. In spite of that, it still is considered one of the best ultrabooks around. It is easy to say that finally, MacBook has already met its match.
This ultrabook comes with 2.7-3.1GHz dual-core Intel Core i7-7500U. There is also Core i5 available. It does have 16GB of RAM and 512GB PCIe SSD (SATA SSD on Core i5 is available). It comes with 12.5-inch full HD display and only weighs an insane 910gram and 12mm thick.
The Asus Zenbook 3 also comes with 1x USB-C and 3.5mm headset jack which is not readily available with MacBook. Many MacBook users don't mind, however, there is also a good number which despises the fact that ports are no longer available.
For ultimate safety and protection, the ultrabook comes with a finger scanner. It certainly is a league of its own by having this feature instead of the usual password driver laptops available in the market.

Given its specifications, it is packed with enough power to perform daily tasks required from a laptop. Its slim and lightweight body makes for a portable machine, making it easy to fit in bigger purses and bags. It is extremely lightweight making it almost undetectable when inside bags and pocketbooks.
As added by CNET, the Zenbook 3 rated an impressive eight out of a possible 10 points from its review. It had an impressive eight points on design, features, performance. The ultrabook then rated seven in battery life.
The ZenBook 3 definitely has its own advantages compared to MacBook. There are also features which MacBook easily win when compared to the Zenbook. The decision then lies on the requirements of the most discerning of buyers.
