Honda Motors experienced an all-time high in sales numbers for the month of November thanks to popular models like the 2012 Honda Civic and Accord vehicles, the company reported. Both models will be replaced by newer versions which has allowed Honda dealers to cut back prices for the 2012 models.

November was the best sales month since 2000 for the company according to a press release issued by Honda. Over 116,580 vehicles were sold by Acura and Honda in November largely due to price reductions.

"Honda's all-time best November demonstrates the fundamental strength of our core products. The new Accord is hitting its stride, and with the new Civic now arriving in dealerships, we're ready for a strong finish to 2012."

The 2012 Honda Civic broke a 22-year-old record after selling over 30,075 models in the month alone. This number is up over 75 percent compared to November 2011.

Sales for Accord vehicles rose 82 percent last month after selling 26,248 vehicles. The company has seen sales increase every month since last March.

"We are now surpassing sales records set pre-recession, a true sign that our business has recovered," said John Mendel, American Honda executive vice president of Sales according to the press release.
