PowerVision Showcased PowerRay: Underwater Drone To Tracks And Snaps Fishes

PowerVision introduces the PowerRay which is an underwater drone. It is designed to tracks, photographs and even attracts freshwater, salt water, and ice fishes.  It can dive down 30 meters and detect fishes up to 40 meters below.

The PowerRay drone is capable of detecting temperature, landscape, and fish distribution underwater. The drone can shoot 4K videos underwater and transmitted to its iOS or Android App. It also comes with a  12-megapixel camera, with 100-degree wide-angle lens and two powerful LED's to illuminate underwater.

It has a PowerVision VR goggles is use to transmit and feed to the VR headset while exploring the underwater world. The drone comes with precision remote and blue laser to attract the fishes. 

As noted by PowerVision, the drone-sonar add-on accessory is designed to send details on the water's landscape, fish location, and water temperature for both fresh and saltwater fishing as well as ice fishing. The sonar can also be detached from the submarine drone and float on the surface.

The drone can dive as deep as 98 feet and the add-on sonar accessory will track fish up to 131 feet further and with an accuracy within about 3.9 inches. The onboard Wi-Fi sends information with a signal range of about 230 feet.

According to Wally Zheng of PowerVision CEO in a press release, Recreational fishing is one of the lifestyle areas that has not been involved in making innovation on its technology. However, by introducing PowerRay's PowerVision is completely changing the way on fishing for the past 7,000 years. Through this innovation of fish finding technology and features, PowerRay is going to offer more thrill, fun, and efficiency to fishermen around the world.

PowerRay drone will be available on sale mid this year and pricing have to be finalized. The use of this drone is not just for fishing but it might as well take the commoners on enjoying underwater to a whole new level.
