In a couple of years, the midsize Ford Ranger pickup and an all-new Ford Bronco SUV will be released. That's right, these iconic rides would finally return.

The news did not come as a surprise to most Ford fans because it has been hinted all throughout 2016. Now, it is official. Back in 2011, Ford discontinued the Ranger in the United States.

This is partly due to the fact that the Ranger could potentially get larger sales from the more profitable Ford F-150. At least, the F-150 was considered more profitable at the time. All over the world, however, the Ford Ranger is still in the market.

After seeing the success of other midsize pickup trucks such as the Chevrolet Colorado and the GMC Canyon, Ford finally decided it would be great for business to start selling the Ranger in the United States again.

The 2019 Ford Ranger is expected to be an all-new version of the truck which is currently sold in several continents such as Europe, Asia, and Australia. On the other hand, the returning Ford Bronco will be making a comeback on 2020.

The Bronco will have all-new features. But Ford said it will still be very much like the same Bronco every fan loved - only better. Its off-road ability will be one of the major key selling points of the SUB.

According to Ford's global product chief, Raj Nair, the Bronco will be an all-new model which will be based on the Ranger's chassis. It will also feature new stylings as a nod to the Bronco's heritage.

The all-new Bronco will be available in every market all over the world - not just in the United States. The strong - and increasing - demand for Sports Utility Vehicles make it a good time for the Bronco to return.
