Lexus will be coming out with two versions of its flagship car. The Lexus 500 and the Lexus 500h hybrid will be made available in the middle of the second quarter of 2017 and will be reasonably priced at less than $100.000.

The announced pricing is not that high for a well established brand of luxury vehicles from the world's largest car maker. According to Auto Week, the LC500 will be offered at the price $92,975.

The LC500 is powered by a 5.0-Liter V8 engine and comes in two packages, the Touring and the Sports. The Touring is presented with a 20-inch wheels, glass roof, temp-controlled front seats and park assist system. Semi-aniline seats and a Mark Levinson audio will cost an additional $4,000.

The Sport package includes the same forged 20-inch wheels, heated and ventilated Alcantara suede sports seats, park assist, blind spot monitor and limited-slip differential. The seats and the audio system also require the added $4,000.

A carbon reinforced- plastic combination roof, head-up display, Mark Levinson audio system will cost the Sports package an additional $7,000.  Installing a sporty rear spoiler, variable-gear ratio system and active rear steering with the package raise costs up to $10,000 from the base price.

The Lexus LC500h hybrid is powered by 3.5-liter 354 hp V6 engine and will be offered at the base price of $97,485. The optional packages offered for this model are cheaper than what is available to the non-hybrid LC500. Instead of $4,000, the Sport Package with Glass is available for only for $2,400. The Sport Package with Carbon costs only $5,400 instead of $7,000, while the High Performance Pack costs only $7,000 instead of $10,000.

The non-hybrid LC500 is the more powerful car of the two with its 5.0 V8 engine churning out 471 hp and 398 lb-ft. of torque with a well-designed automatic transmission. The suspension systems of both cars are the same. Luxury car enthusiasts are satisfied that the base price of both the LC500 and LC500h hybrid is below $100,000.
