Ford Bronco and Ford Ranger

Ford announced in Detroit their intention to launch four new SUVs to cover segments in which the company do not currently compete in. In this way, the mark would rival models like the Jeep Wrangler and will take a bigger part of the popular SUV segment.

Ford also confirms the return of two of its historical models Bronco and Ranger. Ford didn't give a lot of details regarding the new Ford Bronco and Ford Ranger and just stated that they intend to make a generation of vehicles that are incredibly capable that owners can still have fun driving in, according to Yahoo News.

City Of Tomorrow

More importantly, Ford showed everyone the future with their City Of Tomorrow. As TheDrive said, this announcement overshadowed all other Ford announcements in Detroit with its interesting explanatory video.

It is well known that Ford made a huge improvement in prototypes of autonomous cars. However, this time, the American manufacturer goes a step further and now showed its vision of the future. Looking to solve the current problems of pollution and large traffic suffered by large cities, Ford seeks to implement solutions so that these inconveniences that many citizens are suffering daily will be a thing of the past.

Taking a look at the video below, one possible solution is to carpool. Another is to make autonomous electric vehicles connected with the city so they can interact with each other and have real-time information on the state of the traffic and available parking.

Without a doubt, Ford's vision is something very different from today's scenario. Watch the video below to know more about Ford's City of Tomorrow.
