A similar technology like this already exists in the hospital. This device lets users monitor their contractions at home. Bloomlife doesn't sell their units. They are only available for rent on a monthly basis.
Kaishi: Fetal Heart Rate Monitor. In the past, parents could only see their baby via an ultrasound. This fetal heart rate monitor lets parents hear and monitor their baby's heartbeat whenever they want.
REMI: Sleep Trainer for Kids. Sleep training toddlers is a difficult task. But once they are able to sleep it is a welcome delight to both the toddlers and their sleep-deprived parents.
The Urban Hello is a little gadget that uses facial expressions, lights, and sound as behavioral cues. Parents can set it up via a smartphone app and let their children know that when REMI closes its eye, they should follow suit.
TempTraq: Infant Temperature Monitor. This handy bandage-like contraption attached to an infant's arm. It can wirelessly send temperature data to a smartphone app.
The newest version lasts as long as 48 hours before you need to replace it. This is a game changer for parents who don't want to wake up their sick children to take and monitor their temperature.
Willow: Smart Breast Pump. This breast pump has a simple but very clever design. Each pump has a bag that can hold up to four ounces of milk. It is a wearable breast pump that allows mothers to pump on the go.
But it doesn't stop there. It also has a rechargeable battery and some electronic parts that allows users to track how much milk they have pumped. The information can then be sent to their smartphone. Currently, there is only iOS support but there will be Android support in the future.
All of the gadgets available at CES 2017 for mothers and mothers-to-be really helps parents. Not only will it save them time and effort, the new innovations also show that tech is infiltrating all facets of society.
