Audi, a German car manufacturer, revealed its latest generation Audi SUV, the Audi Q8. Designed to capture the elegance of a coupe and a spaciousness that will bring comfort, the Audi Q8 was revealed on the first day of the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The said event started Jan. 8 and will wrap up on the 22nd. The production version of the latest addition to the Audi Q series will be in 2018.

Slight changes in the styling of the Audi Q8 made it one of the top vehicles belonging to the sports utility vehicle segment in the said show. What made it unique is that fact that it wears the elegant look of the coupe and the spaciousness of an SUV. Despite looking like a box, though, it has curves, lending it an appealing look. It still has the single frame grille that marks all Q models although at Audi Q8, the grille is wider, according to Motor Authority.

Inside the Audi Q8 is luxury. The seats are covered in silver leather, as well as other items that are not metal decors and screen. Strategically located in front of the driver is the Audi virtual cockpit. The car's interior can be made cooler or warmer using a strange-looking control pad located at the end of the armrest of the center console. Only four people can be accommodated but the spacious cabin will make them feel comfortable at all times, according to Bloomberg Pursuits.

Under the hood of the Audi Q8 is the powerful 3.0-liter TFSI V6 that produces 333 horsepower with torque of 369 lb-ft. In addition, the electric motor produces 100 kW of power and 330 Nm. The engine is matched with an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission. Although the SUV is big, it still can go from zero to 62.1 mph in just 5.4 seconds. This will be a hybrid vehicle with an impressive range of 600 miles of road trip, according to Auto Express UK.

The Audi Q8 concept reveals a powerful, elegant, comfortable and modern car. It will be available to customers in 2018. The price range is estimated between the ranges of $50,000 at $65,000. With all the comforts and sophisticated technology it offers, the price appears reasonable.
