The upcoming iPad Pro 2 is one of the much-awaited products from Apple. The Cupertino, California-company has not released any official details about the sequel product so all information are based on speculations and leaks. The tech community is buzzing if Apple will finally equip the iPad Pro with a keyboard and mouse to compete with Microsoft Surface Pro 2.

Three iPad Pro 2 models are expected to be released this year including the 9.7- and 12.9-inch variants. Another model, 10.5-inch, is reportedly in the works.

What perked up the interest of the tech community is the new leak from China showing an iPad Pro 2 case with a drawer that is made for keyboards. This development could lead to an Apple tablet with a physical keyboard.

Previous reports revealed that the iPad Pro 2 will be powered by Apple's A10X processor and 4GB of RAM. According to Macworld, the iPad Pro 2017 lineup will feature a bezel-free screen and no Home button.

The iPad Pro 2 is also predicted to be a folding tablet with possibly iOS 10.3 onboard. Other features include True Tone displays, Force Touch or 3D Touch, and a "Theater" mode.

Apple may also pit the iPad Pro 2 against Microsoft Surface Pro 4. The latter boasts of a 12.3-inch display with a resolution of 2,376 x 1,824 pixels. Surface Pro 4 has a 5-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera. It will be powered by sixth-generation Intel Core processors and up to 1 TB of storage.

The aforementioned Surface Pro 4 specs will go head-to-head against the iPad Pro 2's bevy of speculated impressive features. The former tablet has a headphone jack, which is said to be missing in the Apple device. The tablet may have a mid-year launch.

The video below rounds up the news and speculations about the upcoming iPad Pro 2 tablet. Share your thoughts on the article in the comment section.
