General Motors announced at the 2013 SEMA auto show that they will be releasing a Camaro Hot Wheels Special Edition in early 2013. This is the first time that a full-sized Hot Wheel vehicle will be up for sale.

The car was designed to look similar to smaller Chevrolet Hot Wheels that people have grown up with for over 40 years now.

"Millions of us grew up playing with Hot Wheels," said Chris Perry, vice president of Chevrolet Marketing in the General Motors press release. "Offering a special production model of the Camaro Hot Wheels is an opportunity to bring those memories to life, for kids of all ages."

The inside features a black leather-trimmed interior with red and black seat stitching and the Hot Wheels logo can be found on the front seats according to the press release.

The SS model will include a 6.2 liter V-8 engine, which can come in either automatic or manual. The horsepower for the L88 is 400 and the torque is around 410 pounds. The LT model will include a LFX 3.6 liter V-6 engine, with variable valve timing and direct injection. This model comes with horsepower of over 323.
