With the CES on-going, a lot of brand new technology has been revealed. Gamers are in for a treat, with Razer's brand new laptop.
In the CES today, Razer revealed a brand new laptop that will change how gamers will be able to play. Project Valerie is the name of Razer's project that will feature not just one, but three monitor screens in a gaming laptop! Project Valerie will be the first laptop in the world that will feature three built-in monitors. Each monitor will feature 4K resolution with 17.3 inches each. The three screens will have a total of 11520 x 2160 screen, enough to give gamers an immersive experience when playing games.
The monitors will also feature NVIDIA's Surround View Technology, which will make a single image available across the three monitors. The monitors themselves slide out from the central lid chassis and autonomously position to create a full 180-degree viewing area. This will allow users to easily navigate their programs and applications with the help of the three monitors.
According to Kevin Sather, Director of the Product Marketing in Razer, they created Project Valerie with the gamer audience in mind. They wanted to incorporate the multiple-monitor desktop level performance and incorporate them in a laptop to make it portable for the users. Aside from the astounding feature of three screens, Project Valerie also sports short-throw keyboard, aluminum case, and the 17-inch Blade Pro. Project Valerie can also support HTC Vive and Oculus Rift, having fulfilled all the requirements necessary to run them. With all these features, the laptop only weighs less than 12 pounds; something that is portable, even in the gaming laptop standards.
There's no news yet of what would the price for Project Valerie. Sather said that by showing it off at CES 2017, they aim to gather feedback and comments from people on they see a three-monitored laptop. Razer will be using these comments and further improve Project Valerie before releasing them to the public.
