Razer Project Valerie is a new gaming laptop from Razer that expands like a robot from one to three awesome wide displays in just a press of a button. Setting up a multi-monitor desktop gaming system is easy. On the other hand, setting up two more screens to properly work with a laptop display is not a walk in the park either.

Recently shown at CES 2017, Razer Project Valerie concept solves the difficulty in setting up a multi-monitored gaming laptop in a very cool way. When observed properly, Project Valerie seems to be a thicker variant of the 2016 Razer Blade Pro - which is the best machine Razer has brought to the gaming laptop market so far. The thickness is due to a pair of additional 17.3-inch monitors which can display 4K IGZO. Initially, the couple extra monitors are layered behind the main monitor.

When the user, or gamer per se, decides to go from single screen to triple screens, the two monitors will deploy (like a Transformer robot), and aligns with the primary display. With that ingenuity, Razer's Project Valerie laptop looks promising and awesome at the same time, gathering lots of people at CES 2017.

Razer Project Valerie Features

On top of the awesome transformation from a primary display to a monstrous triple-screened gaming laptop, Razer Project Valerie also features an aesthetic add-on. Its Chroma lighting glows just behind the extra monitors to get more awe out of the users and observers alike.

Min Liang Tan, Razer CEO and co-founder, said that desktops with multiple monitors are becoming a norm for professionals, gamers, and creators. Basing on that fact, they have engineered a solution to which these people can take their computers with their multiple monitors wherever they go. Razer Project Valerie aims to keep the functionalities intact without compromising logistics of the laptop, as reported by Kotaku, which describes the device as a "show stopper".

Razer Project Valerie Price

Further with Kotaku's report, Razer Project Valerie price would be around $5,000. This is based on 2016 Razer Blade Pro price of $3,700. Add a couple of extra monitors and the cost should probably fall around the 5K range. Adding a couple more monitors that are 4K capable would have the owner boasting a 12K-mobile gaming rig, which can sound a bit too futuristic in today's standards.
