BMW to preview hologram interface at 2017 Consumer Electronics Show

BMW Company will be announcing their new interesting project this year. This company will implement holographic touch screen system in their future cars that have not yet featured by other competitors. This new project of BMW will be the first ever car that has Holographic feature.

The Holographic touch-screen system is expected to generate a full-color holographic display in car's interior which bring the driver into sci-fi world that usually seen on crime dramas and in sci-fi flicks. The said new project of BMW reportedly called as "BMW HoloActive Touch" and will be showing off this coming 2017 Consumer Electronic Show.

Holographic interfaces will find interesting for most consumers especially nowadays. According to BMW, the commands to the infotainment system will be confirmed to the driver through perceiving "tactile feedback". This makes the consumer might curious about how holograms technology can reach out and how it will response back.

According to some sources, there is a possibility that BMW HoloActive Touch might include every function of the car that can be controlled without any physical contact which will be a cool factor if ever this will happen. Positively, BMW is capable of this project by combining some of its technologies that the car company has used in their previous vehicles. This can be found in 5 and 7 series which was a head-up display and also the gesture control system.

BMW HoloActive Touch system has actual floating display effect that brings a fancy reflection to the driver. When driver's fingertip comes into contact on the projected screen, HoloActive will automatically response by display holographic image.

Holographic features are quite interesting for most consumers and this was also made the consumers hoping that this will easy to navigate compared to today's most manufacture's infotainment screens. This might challenge other leading brands to make better interesting features in order to compete for this in the future.
