According to BMW, the commands to the infotainment system will be confirmed to the driver through perceiving "tactile feedback". This makes the consumer might curious about how holograms technology can reach out and how it will response back.

According to some sources, there is a possibility that BMW HoloActive Touch might include every function of the car that can be controlled without any physical contact which will be a cool factor if ever this will happen. Positively, BMW is capable of this project by combining some of its technologies that the car company has used in their previous vehicles. This can be found in 5 and 7 series which was a head-up display and also the gesture control system.

BMW HoloActive Touch system has actual floating display effect that brings a fancy reflection to the driver. When driver's fingertip comes into contact on the projected screen, HoloActive will automatically response by display holographic image.
