For gamers, there are a lot of gaming laptops to choose from today. And a popular computer brand decides to join the fray in the line of gaming laptops.

Computer brand Acer will release a brand new gaming laptop called Predator 21 X. The Predator 21 X is the first notebook that will sport a 21-inch curved screen. While the topic of curved screens is still debatable up to this date, curved screens provide a better immersion experience than flat screens. Predator 21 X's screen features a 21:9 aspect ratio and 2560 x 1080 screen resolution.

The notebook's primary specs include Intel Core i7-7820 HK CPU, 64gb RAM, and a 1 to 2TB internal drive. The laptop first debuted in August 2016. Acer unveiled Predator 21 X at Berlin, Germany and showed off its impressive power and capabilities as a gaming laptop. Aside from the impressive specs, it also sports Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 graphic card. According to the Nvidia website, the GTX 1080 offers power efficiency and exciting gaming experiences for gamers. All in all, these specs amounts to 19.4 pounds of metal. The price for the Predator 21 X is around $8,999.

Acer also offers exterior features for the Predator 21 X. The notebook features a Tobii built-in eye-tracker, a mechanical keyboard where users can customize the backlight in the options, and a keypad that doubles as a touchpad when flipped over. Because of the extensive features the notebook possess, it requires five cooling fans to cool down the machine and prevent it from overheating.

$8,999 is not something to laugh at. It almost makes the Predator 21 X out of reach for most of the gamers who don't have that kind of money. Luckily, Acer decided to bring out some of the more affordable Predator laptops. The Predator 17X, which is a downgraded version of Predator 21, is at a slightly more affordable price of $2,599. The difference between the two is the limited solid state configurations with the Predator 17X. It also forgoes the curved screen for a flat 17.3-inch G-Sync screen. The Aspire line is also being updated. The V15 and V17 will feature Intel's latest processors at the price of $1,119 for V15 and $1,299 for V17. The Aspire VX15 gaming laptop will come with Intel's latest processors but a less powerful graphics card. The price for it is around $799 and will be available later this month.

The Predator 21X is scheduled for release in February. To view the full specs, check it out here.
