Formula One fans from all over the world are concerned about Michael Schumacher's health. The latest update on his condition is his $25 million dollar hospital bill.

Michael Schumacher: Greatest F1 Driver in History. The legendary seven-time Formula One driver was in a bad skiing accident at the French Alps on December 29, 2013. He was placed in a medically induced coma due to the severity of his brain injuries. He was initially in a coma for six months. He was later brought to his home in Geneva, Switzerland for private care.

In September of last year, it was reported that the 47-year-old F1 driver was unable to walk. No further details about his health were given until November. Ex-Mercedes Benz chief Ross Brawn was quoted for saying that Schumacher was showing "encouraging" signs. Apart from that there has been little to no updates regarding Michael Schumacher's condition.

Schumacher has been receiving private treatment at home. The treatment must be very expensive. It has been revealed that his hospital bill is now around a whopping $25 million dollars. This would explain why Schumacher's wife sold his jet and holiday home. Although she stated that it was because "he would never use them," financial reasons may be the real motivation behind the sale.

Sources have revealed that Schumacher's treatment costs over $114,000 a week. His treatment involves a team of 15 medics that administer private health care to him in his home.

The racing legend had his Formula One debut in 1991. In 1992, he won his first championship. In 1995, Schumacher became the youngest double champion. He moved to Ferrari in 1996 and won his first title with them in 2000. He retired in 2006 for the first time but returned in 2009.

There is no doubt that Michael Schumacher remains to be one of the greatest F1 drivers in history. Whether or not he will recover is a mystery. The F1 legend's family and friends have yet to comment on his health condition.
