The long-awaited "Pokemon Sun and Moon" have taken the gaming realm by storm since its release earlier this month; players are going berserk over getting their hands on some new legendaries. Much to their delight, there are Ultra Beasts to catch as well.

However, some players are still unable to capture Necrozma --- a legendary Pokemon. Luckily, there are umpteen "Pokemon Sun and Moon" tips online to help players grab the coveted creature.

How To Catch Necrozma

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" guidelines to capture Necrozma are running rampant online. Before tracking down Necrozma, players need to capture all the Ultra Beasts in the post-game missions, according to Mic.

As soon as the missions are completed, the player must visit police officer Looker, who is investigating about the Ultra Beasts. The officer will tell the player that he spotted a mystical black Pokemon flying in the skies of Melemele Island. This is the cue players must look for.

Although Looker hazards a guess that it is just another Ultra Beast, it actually is the legendary Pokemon: Necrozma.

Players are likely to bump into Necrozma in Ten Cara Hill, which is located in Melemele Island. Using a Max Repel, the player must run around the grass in the Farthest Hollow region until Necrozma makes an appearance.

Capturing Rare Pokemon

Players can capture rare Pokemon originating from another region through the Island Scan feature. Simply by scanning QR codes of any Pokemon in the game, the player can add any creature to his Pokedex, according to BGR.

Aside from being able to see exactly where the creature spawns in Alola, the player will also earn 10 points; which, according to the publication, builds toward the Island Scan. After scanning 10 QR codes, the player earns 100 points, which can be used to activate the Island Scan.

Once activated, the Island Scan will scan any island the player is on --- including Poni, Ula'ula, Akala, and Melemele --- and ferret out rare Pokemon; particularly hard-to-find Pokemon in "Pokemon Sun and Moon".
