The Guangzhou Auto Show 2016 paved the way for the revelation of Buick's Velite Hybrid concept. The Velite looks like one of the cars in the "Tron: Legacy" movie because of the LED lighting elements. Comparing it to the previous Velite model that Buick released last 2004, the latest Velite is a four-door crossover.

Buick's Velite does not show any distinguishing look to other cars except for it badges, according to Autoblog. From the first look of the car, it would seem like it was inspired by the latest Toyota Prius. The sides look like a resemblance to the latest model of Infinity.

The car was also inspired by water and the Chinese traditional culture that would develop a car which is Intelligent, Efficient, and Green. The Buick's new design showcases the improvement of it aerodynamics which would lower the drag coefficient to improve the fuel economy of the car. The new generation of GM's modular intelligent electric drive system was used for this high-performance plug-in electric vehicle's powertrain with its high-performance  modular lithium-ion battery pack.

The Buick Velite's interior was made from recycled materials that gave the car a very elegant look. There was also a panoramic roof, induction lighting, that serves as a mobile network the syncs with the driver's phone. A 360-degree intelligent traffic induction system similar to Tesla's radar-based system was also an additional feature of the car, according to Motortrend.

There are other amazing features the car would offer like the adaptive cruise control, night vision like the one you would get from Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Velite's hazard warning sensors, and line and safety distance assist. This coming year seems to  hold amazing Hybrid cars made by leading car manufacturers, who would win the race and be the best among the Hybrid cars.
