The new trailer for Scarlet Johansson's sci-fi and artificial intelligence inspired movie is now out and moviegoers are going crazy over the film. Director Ruper Sanders revealed, Johansson is not the only character the public should look out for, as the story's villain called Kuze is one interesting persona on the film.

The Paramount adaptation of the 1995 anime will soon hit the big screen in the form of a live-action movie. Like the new Beauty and Beast film, Ghost in Shell will feature a shot per shot adaptation of the anime.

The sexy lead will be played by Scarlett Johansson who also played the robotic voice in the movie 'Her'. There were some notable changes especially with the names, as the lead formerly called Motoko Kusanagi is now known as The Major. What's more exciting is that the plot of the movie will be borrowed from many different movies and episodes of the franchise.

However, Director Rupert Sanders is not only banking on his lead actress to carry the weight of the movie, as the producers also banked on an interesting characteristic of the film's villain calling him an 'amalgamation'. Actor Michael Pitt is confirmed to play the villain and Sanders talked about the movie and the characters, especially the villain in an interview in Japan.

Pitt will play the 'cybernetically-enhanced' character named Kuze whose persona will be based on several anime characters. "I think, to be honest, Kuze borrows a few facets from different characters in the series," Sanders said in an interview with ComicBook. "He's not just Kuze and he's not just the puppet master. He's kind of an amalgamation of the way he moves through the network is borrowed from other elements," Sanders added.

Sanders promised the viewers that Pitt's character will offer a new take on the franchise and the director has nothing but good word's about the actor. "Ghost in the Shell has some heady philosophical concepts to tackle in its live-action adaptation as well as more than two decades worth of fandom; fingers crossed that it's up to the task!" movie director Rupert Sanders said in an interview.

Aside from Pitt and Johansson, other renowned actors who will be in the movie includes Chin Han, Lasarus Ratuere, Pilou Asbæk and Beat Takeshi. The movie will roll out in theaters in March 2017.
