About 1500 lucky people from the auto industry and the press were invited to see Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May at Apple Valley, California for the epic taping of their first episode. From the looks of it, everything will be grand - complete with supercars, aircrafts and a lot of Clarkson humors and sarcasm.

The "Grand" Experience

Approximately 1500 people gathered at "The Grand Tour's" taping. All of them were ordered to leave their cameras, mobile phones and other intrusive devices a few kilometers from the place of the shooting. This is not only for confidentiality but also to not interfere with the gadgets and instruments the team will be using for the show.

Tyler Hoover of Jalopnik website is one of the few people who got the chance to watch the first taping and now he narrates his experience. According to Hoover, the people were gathered in buses and as the bus turned onto a rough road, helicopters whizzed above them and they were brought to a giant military green tent just beside the most eclectic group of amazing cars he had ever seen and it seems like he is on paradise.

"There were there more than 100 cars parked each more impressive, including some fresh from the oven models like the new Ford GT or the Bentley Bentayga. There's also a two floor bus from Volkswagen which is very rare" said Hoover.

All this can be see at Clarkson's latest tweet where a Porsche 919, Pagani Huayra and Lamborghini Diablo is also at the scene.

It was at that moment when the trio of presenters appeared and greeted the fans politely and in a friendly manner. They greeted, presented and signed the car keys from the audience.

Expect The Unexpected

On November 18, people can finally see the first Grand Tour episode and according to sources who are there in the taping, the first chapter of the new program will start with Clarkson, Hammond and Mays riding the wheels of a Ford Mustang prepared to raise dust in the California desert accompanied by a good number of other awesome cars.

Jeremy Clarkson will also mention the real truth on why he was fired at Top Gear which has something to do his epic scene in the last Top Gear series winching up the side of a dam in an old Land Rover.

When asked if they can be fired again with those sorts of stunts, Hammond replied “That’s impossible, we’re on the internet now. We can do whatever we want. So expect the unexpected”.

Everything indicates that the first season will have 12 episodes and fans all over the world cant wait to watch it! Also as early of now, two more seasons are confirmed and a possible launch in television world as well.
