Sep 26, 2016 09:32 AM EDT | Mariechris Felipe

The Paris Motor Show will commence in just a few days and more and more teaser photos are being revealed ahead of the event. Mercedes-AMG is the latest car manufacturer to join the bandwagon as they released in their official Instagram account photos that show the front and rear of a new car with a tagline: "A little big something is about to be revealed”.

With all car manufacturers presenting an EV at the Paris Motor Show, and Mercedes is the only one left not announcing any, it is expected that this one could be the much awaited Mercedes EV. According to the official website of the Mondial de l'Automobile, Mercedes has confirmed that it will present the following vehicles in the Paris Motor Show. The Mercedes-AMG GT R , Mercedes E - Class All-Terrain, Mercedes E Class Estate, Mercedes-AMG Coupé GLC 43, Mercedes-AMG R50, Mercedes-AMG GT Cabrio, Mercedes GLB Class, 2017 Mercedes S Class and an unnamed electric Mercedes which could be this newly teased car.

Too Little To See

We knew that Mercedes-Benz was preparing an electric prototype for the imminent Paris Motor Show 2016 as all other car manufacturer has one, what we did not imagine is it would come to the spiciest most popular division of the brand which is the Mercedes-AMG.

It's somewhat frustrating that too little is shown in the teaser photo. In the images, one front and one rear, can be distinguished under a sheet what looks like a compact SUV with sports - inspired clear in the Mercedes AMG GT. The tagline "A little something big is About to be revealed - soon!" does not say much and does not help to know what Mercedes store for us.

Something Sporty

If you look at the first picture we see a small car nose with a very strong aesthetic charge. You could almost say that it looks like the front of a Smart For Four seen from that angle, but does not keep anything else with it. The air intakes are very marked on the front bumper and it seems that they are covered by a grid type that looks like a beehive.

Resemblance on the passing headlights to the Mercedes-AMG GT is more than evident. The height of the assembly and the wheels and tires that accompany indicate that this car will bring sporty into the next level.

In the second picture we see a rear with a style marked and seeping coupe on all four sides. In it the headlights back are also very similar to those used by other models of AMG .

These are all the info we have for now. We will just hae to wait and see until the Paris Motor Show kicks off.
